Fellows Conference of BIIT held at RU

The Fellows Conference of BIIT was held at the conference room of Deans Complex of the University of Rajshahi (RU) on 24 December 2024. This Conference was a views exchange program regarding Academics with teachers of the RU and Higher officials of the BIIT.

This program was presided over by Dr. AKM Azharul Islam, Professor Emeritus of the Department of Physics while Dr. M Abdul Aziz, Director General of Bangladesh Institute of Islamic Thought (BIIT), was the chief guest.

Dr. M Abdul Aziz delivered various guidelines on ways to implement integrated curriculum in their respective departments, methods of preparing skilled graduates with a combination of knowledge, skills and values, and strategies to highlight the relevance of Islam in their respective fields. He thanked the fellows of the BIIT in RU for their cooperation.

Among others, Professor Mohammad Main Uddin, Pro-Vice-Chancellor (Administration); Professor Dr. Md. Farid Uddin Khan, Pro-Vice-Chancellor (Education); Professor Dr. Mohammad Belal Hossain, Dean of the Faculty of Arts; Professor Dr. Iftikharul Alam Masud, Acting Registrar and more than fifty distinguished teachers from various departments were present.

Professor Md. Akhtar Hossain Majumder, Administrator of the Public Relations Department, moderated the program.
